Project Name: Alashankou Water Treatment Plant
Location: Xinjiang, China
Capacity: 60,000 tons/day
Equipment: Micro-vortex flocculation equipment, inclined tube sedimentation equipment, high-speed fiber filter media, monolithic filter underdrain
Project Introduction:
The Alashankou Water Treatment Plant is located in Bole City, Xinjiang, with a daily treatment capacity of 60,000 cubic meters. The treated water is primarily used for drinking. The plant's structures utilize reinforced concrete, and it is a government-funded project. Construction began in 2009, and the plant became operational in 2010.
The main treatment process employed is: tubular mixer → micro-vortex flocculation tank → inclined tube sedimentation tank → high-speed fiber filter → disinfection → supply to users. Coagulants can be added to the tubular mixing section as needed.
This project utilizes highly efficient mixing, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration processes, resulting in a more compact plant footprint. For example, the mixing time is only 3 seconds, the sedimentation tank's upward flow velocity is 2 mm/s, and the high-speed fiber filter's filtration rate reaches 16 m/h. Since its commissioning, the plant has consistently produced high-quality water, often without the need for additional chemical additives. This is thanks to Weilan's proprietary technology and equipment.
