Project Introduction:
The Yichuan County Water Supply Plant is located in Luoyang City, Henan Province, with a daily treatment capacity of 20,000 cubic meters. The treated water is primarily used for drinking. The plant's structures utilize reinforced concrete, and it is a government-funded and government-operated project. Construction began in 2010, and the plant became operational in 2013.
The main treatment process employed is: tubular mixer → micro-vortex flocculation tank → inclined tube sedimentation tank → V-type filter → disinfection → supply to users. In addition to the high-efficiency sedimentation tank, this project incorporates V-type filtration as the core filtration stage.
The V-type filter features V-shaped inlet channels and uniformly graded filter media. This distinctive structural design, combined with the precision-engineered filter media, delivers superior filtration accuracy and incorporates a surface sweep function during backwashing — producing higher-quality effluent while significantly reducing backwash water consumption. The water and air distribution system uses a monolithic filter underdrain, in which the filter underdrain channels are cast integrally with the filter's reinforced concrete structure, ensuring exceptional structural integrity. The adjustable nozzles can be precisely leveled to a horizontal plane, achieving highly uniform water and air distribution and ensuring thorough cleaning of the filter media. Since commissioning, the plant has consistently delivered safe, high-quality drinking water to residents of Yichuan County, supporting the region's growing municipal water demand.
