Project Name: Upgrading of Changge Wastewater Treatment Plant
Location: Henan, China
Capacity: 45,000 tons/day
Equipment: Micro-vortex flocculation equipment, inclined tube sedimentation equipment
Project Introduction:
The Changge Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrading Project has a treatment capacity of 45,000 cubic meters per day and serves regional water environment management and compliant wastewater discharge. The plant's main structures utilize reinforced concrete. Following the upgrade, the facility has achieved significantly enhanced treatment stability and elevated discharge standards.
This project focuses on strengthening the phosphorus removal process within the flocculation and sedimentation tanks, with targeted optimization for total phosphorus (TP) removal from wastewater. It employs a high-efficiency mixing and flocculation + gravity sedimentation combined process, characterized by a streamlined flow, stable operation, and strong resistance to shock loading.
Through precise chemical dosing, the system rapidly completes the mixing reaction and forms dense flocs, converting dissolved phosphorus into settleable phosphate flocs. Efficient sludge-water separation is then achieved within the sedimentation zone, enabling effluent total phosphorus to be stably controlled below 0.5 mg/L — meeting stringent environmental discharge standards.
By integrating Weilan's proprietary micro-vortex flocculation technology with inclined tube sedimentation equipment, the upgraded plant delivers reliable, low-energy phosphorus removal performance while maintaining a compact footprint, offering a proven retrofit solution for municipal wastewater treatment facilities seeking to meet tightening environmental regulations.
