Project Introduction:
Huangchuan Haohui Water Treatment Plant is located in Xinyang City, Henan Province, with a daily treatment capacity of 50,000 cubic meters. The treated water is primarily used for drinking water. The plant utilizes a reinforced concrete structure for its tanks. This project is a privately invested BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) project. Construction began in 2010, and the plant became operational in 2011.
The main treatment process employed in this project includes a tubular mixer → grid flocculation tank → inclined tube sedimentation tank → V-type filter → disinfection → supply to users. In addition to the high-efficiency sedimentation tank, the filtration system uses a V-type filter. This filter features a V-shaped inlet trough and uniformly sized filter media. This unique structure and filter media result in higher filtration accuracy and include a surface sweeping function during backwashing, leading to better water quality and reduced backwash water consumption. Furthermore, the water distribution and aeration system utilizes a Monolithic Filter Underdrain design, where the filtration underdrain and the main filter structure are cast as a single reinforced concrete unit, ensuring exceptional durability. The nozzles are adjustable, allowing for horizontal leveling and ensuring very uniform water and air distribution, resulting in thorough cleaning of the filter media.
