Project Name: Norway Dynasand-40 Package Water Treatment Plant
Location: Norway
Capacity: 5,000 tons/day
Equipment: Dynasand continuous sand filter, package water treatment plant
Project Introduction:
The Norway Dynasand-40 project features a daily treatment capacity of 5,000 cubic meters and utilizes the Dynasand continuous sand filtration process, delivered in the form of a compact "Package Water Treatment Plant." This solution belongs to the category of up-flow moving-bed filtration, offering a streamlined, modular design well-suited for projects requiring rapid deployment and minimal civil works.
The core advantage of the Dynasand filter lies in its ability to achieve continuous cleaning of the filter sand without requiring system shutdowns for backwashing. This effectively eliminates the decline in treatment efficiency often associated with the intermittent flushing cycles of traditional filtration processes, ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality effluent production around the clock.
During operation, wastewater flows downward through the filter bed while the filter sand circulates upward. After undergoing regeneration in the cleaning zone, the sand continuously returns to the filtration zone. This dynamic process efficiently removes suspended solids (SS), total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) from the wastewater, while simultaneously reducing effluent turbidity to consistently low levels.
The system also features low operational energy consumption and minimal maintenance requirements, ensuring stable, long-term performance. By helping wastewater treatment plants meet stringent effluent quality standards, the Dynasand-40 package solution further enhances the potential for water reuse and resource recycling — a critical advantage as global water scarcity drives growing demand for sustainable water management technologies.
