Project Introduction:

The Qingxu Activated Carbon Adsorption Filter project is designed with a daily wastewater treatment capacity of 20,000 cubic meters. The advanced treatment section adopts the Dynasand Filter process integrated into a compact Package Water Treatment Plant configuration. This modular solution provides convenient installation, reduced civil construction requirements, and efficient on-site operation.

The Dynasand filtration system belongs to the up-flow moving-bed filtration category and is characterized by its continuous sand cleaning capability without the need for shutdowns during backwashing. Compared with conventional filtration systems, this process effectively avoids treatment efficiency fluctuations caused by intermittent backwash cycles, ensuring continuous and stable filtration performance.

During operation, wastewater flows downward through the filter bed while the filter media continuously circulates upward. The sand is regenerated within the internal washing zone before being automatically returned to the filtration area for reuse. This continuous process efficiently removes suspended solids (SS), total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP), while simultaneously reducing effluent turbidity and improving overall water quality.

The project also utilizes activated carbon filter media to further adsorb refractory COD and other difficult-to-degrade organic pollutants, significantly enhancing the advanced treatment performance. With advantages including low energy consumption, minimal maintenance requirements, and reliable long-term operation, the system helps the wastewater treatment plant consistently meet discharge standards while improving the potential for water reuse and sustainable resource management.
