Project Introduction:
The Haohui Water Treatment Plant in Wugang City is located in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, with a daily treatment capacity of 50,000 cubic meters. The treated water is primarily used for drinking water. The plant's structures are made of reinforced concrete. This project is a privately invested BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) project. Construction began in 2010, and the plant became operational in 2011.
The main treatment process employed in this project includes a tubular mixer → grid flocculation tank → inclined tube sedimentation tank → double-layer filter media flap filter → disinfection → supply to users. The flap filter technology used in this project features a simpler tank structure, and the water distribution and aeration system uses a Filter Underdrain-U design, allowing for a shallower tank depth. The double-layer filter media of anthracite and quartz sand provides a stronger pollutant removal capacity.
