Project Name: Xinzhong’an Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrading Project
Location: Henan, China
Capacity: 30,000 tons/day
Equipment: Denitrification filter, sand filter media, filter underdrain, automated control system
Project Introduction:
The Xinzhong’an Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrading project in Luoyang, Henan, is designed with a daily treatment capacity of 30,000 cubic meters. The project is equipped with a complete treatment solution including a Denitrification Filter, quartz Sand Filter Media, Filter Underdrain, and an advanced automated control system to enhance the overall wastewater treatment performance and operational stability.
The denitrification filter system serves as the core process for nitrogen removal, effectively reducing total nitrogen (TN) levels in the effluent. The quartz sand filter media further improves filtration efficiency by assisting in the removal of total phosphorus (TP) and suspended solids (SS). Meanwhile, the filter underdrain system ensures uniform water distribution and smooth collection flow, helping maintain stable hydraulic performance throughout the filtration process.
To improve operational reliability and management efficiency, the project also integrates a fully automated control system capable of real-time monitoring and precise process regulation across the entire treatment line. Through the coordinated operation of multiple treatment units, the system achieves highly efficient and stable wastewater treatment performance while ensuring all effluent indicators comply with relevant discharge standards.
After the upgrade, the treated effluent consistently maintains total nitrogen (TN) levels below 10 mg/L and total phosphorus (TP) levels below 0.3 mg/L, significantly improving the plant’s discharge quality and supporting local environmental protection and sustainable water management goals.
